Basic description

B.P.Medical s.r.o. is a firm with a long-time experience of running medical, biochemical and hematologic labs. This programme was terminated by the firm though. In 2005 it concentrated its efforts to production and testing of bioactive substances and artificial material , for medicinal use. It concerns especially perspective materials for implantates, predominantely the dental implantates. Testing of biocompatibility (cytocompatibility) is in the level of cells in vitro, thus in level of the primary tests. New screening tests on phototrophic microorganisms are implemented too, mostly by realisation of technics and methods of forced methabolic oscillations.

New project which is realised in biotechnological incubator, assumes work in the field of new biotechnological methods implementations, by scientific workers from various branches and specialization fields. Both the "Centre of Biological Technologies" institution and intelectual background of B.P.M. and the experience of university and academic staff are being utilized for the purpose.

The goal of the project in incubator

Replication of installment and process of phototrophic cultivation of algae,scientifically created in the labs of the University and Academy,so that the resulting products are competitive in the market of comodities of biologically active substances and testing standards.

Deliver the research results of the bioactive substances occurance into the practical use, create the product and settle it on the market.
